The device is designed for soil disinfection. Due to intensive cultivation and frequent use of soil for the same or similar plant crops, soil disinfection is necessary because specific plant diseases and weed flora development reduce the quality of the crop.

 

   Steam disinfection does not carry any risk or undesirable effects on the environment. The hot steam turns into water when it has killed the weed and harmful fungi. Steam is the best way to transfer heat to the soil. All other methods lead to great technical and financial difficulties. There is no need to heat the soil to more than 70-75°C in the top 5-8 cm.
