The seeding line is designed for:
Seed sowing line in cassettes Mosa TO54R has low energy consumption, which leads to lower operating costs. The advantage of the Italian MOSA line over other analogs is the ability to automatically sow pine and spruce seeds.
The seed sowing line includes the following units:
1. Vertical shredder BB14G big-boleys
The BB14G shredder is designed for mechanical destruction of peat big-bolls with subsequent feeding into the MIX13S substrate mixer. It consists of:
frame with mechanical table for pallet with big-ball;
double peat hook system;
discharge outlet with umbrella;
electronic control;
doors with safety sensors.
2. Substrate mixer MIX13S
It is used for preparation (mixing) of substrate with all kinds of organic and inorganic additives. Properly composed and mixed substrate provides seedlings with water, oxygen, and minerals that act as support for root system growth.
3. cassette filler R9G with destacker
Allows quick and uniform filling of different types of cartridges. There is also an adjustment of soil density in each cell of the cartridge, which essentially affects seed germination, rooting and further development of seedlings. The speed is controlled through an inverter from the control panel of the drum seeder.
4. Precision Drum Seeder S9A
Provides automatic sowing of seeds of different sizes. It allows sowing spruce and pine seeds. It is possible to sow several seeds in one cell. The seeder is connected to the cassette filler. The seeder is highly accurate, characterized by high productivity (85-90% seeding accuracy). The seeder is equipped with a patented device for controlling the seeding accuracy and preventing double seeds.
5. Mulching unit with irrigation tunnel VP
The unit allows covering the cassettes with a protective material (perlite, vermiculite, sand, peat). The unit is equipped with a two-directional transportation system that allows the reuse of excess protective material in dry form.
6. Stacker with roller table
Final stacking of filled cassettes and roller table for collecting stacks of finished cassettes.
