The VSA digger is designed for digging up seedlings in nurseries with simultaneous cleaning of the root system from the soil. The main working element is a detachable digging knife. Knives with different working widths (limited by the width of the frame) can be mounted on the same frame. The knife is equipped with a fixed grid that lifts the seedlings upwards. Between the fixed grid elements there are elements of the movable grid for shaking off the soil from the root system. The movable grid is driven by a hydraulic motor through a crank-eccentric mechanism.

    The machine is equipped with support wheels with adjustable position to ensure uniform knife depth.
